Refund policy

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen (14) days from receipt of your order to withdraw from it, without having to give a reason.

To do so, send us an unambiguous statement at contact@grands-crus.wine, or use the standard withdrawal form. A short message with your order number and the bottles concerned is enough.

Condition of returned goods

Bottles must come back to us unopened, unconsumed and in their original packaging, in packing suited to the transport of wine.

The return must be made within 14 days of notifying us of your decision. Return costs are yours, except where the return follows an error on our side or a non-conforming product.

The refund may be reduced if the goods have lost value through handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.

Refund

We refund you no later than 14 days after recovering the bottles, or after proof of their dispatch, using the same means of payment as the original order.

The refund covers the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge originally paid. If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard offer, the difference stays with you.

Non-conforming product or picking error

If a bottle you receive does not match your order, write to contact@grands-crus.wine within 14 days. Once we have checked, we replace or refund, with return costs on us.

Broken bottle or damaged parcel

Transport damage follows a different route from an ordinary return, because it involves the carrier. The steps to take, including reservations on receipt, are set out in our shipping policy. Our shipments are insured against breakage and theft, at our expense.

What cannot be taken back

A bottle that has been opened, consumed, or damaged after delivery through unsuitable storage cannot be returned or refunded, subject to the legal guarantees.

Wine is a living, sensitive product. Once it reaches you, keeping it well is down to you: away from light, at a steady temperature and free from vibration.

Legal guarantees

Whatever the above provides, we remain bound by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). To invoke them, write to contact@grands-crus.wine.
